The Tolet Two-Piece Toilet with Night Light integrates a motion-activated LED illumination system into the toilet bowl that provides sufficient orientation light for nighttime bathroom navigation without requiring overhead lights that trigger full pupil constriction and disrupt sleep recovery after a nighttime bathroom visit. The LED strip is mounted inside the bowl rim in a sealed moisture-proof housing that positions the light source below the waterline level ensuring that the light illuminates the bowl interior without projecting upward into the user’s eyes from a seated position. The motion sensor detects movement within six feet of the toilet and activates the LED array for a period of 90 seconds before timing out if no additional movement is detected – preventing the LEDs from remaining on throughout the night when the toilet is not in use. Sixteen color options are selectable through a button on the sensor housing mounted beneath the rim including a white setting that provides neutral orientation light and color settings including red amber blue green and purple that users can select based on personal preference or sleep science preference – red light has the least impact on melatonin suppression among visible light wavelengths making it the optimal color for nighttime use from a sleep quality perspective. The LEDs operate from four standard AAA batteries housed in a compartment on the sensor that is accessible by removing the toilet seat for battery replacement without any tools. The toilet body is a standard comfort height elongated two-piece design with 1.28 GPF single flush and fully glazed trapway in white vitreous china.
