The 10-inch rough-in distance is measured from the finished wall surface to the center of the drain flange – a dimension that places the drain two inches closer to the wall than standard requiring the rear of the tank to sit proportionally closer to the wall for the toilet to align correctly on the drain. This toilet’s tank depth is dimensioned specifically for 10-inch rough-in installation with the rear tank wall sitting 1.5 inches from the finished wall surface when the toilet is correctly installed on a 10-inch rough-in drain. The elongated bowl provides full adult seating comfort at a comfort height of 16.5 inches from floor to seat surface.
